About Us

In 2019, we identified Inor Medical Products Limited for a strategic acquisition to foray into the medical devices segment. Inor was setup over 40 years ago by a group of doctors to make unique and quality products in the orthopaedic implants segment. It was bought over by one of India leading business houses about 30 years ago. They built the new factory that currently is being used to manufacture the products with excellent quality and latest technology. Since their quality standards, basic mindset to help patients and work closely and ethically with doctors to deliver healthcare products is what made us confident of the business.

Currently the manufacturing unit is based in GIDC, Gundlav, Valsad, Gujarat. It is easily accessible by road and rail network from Mumbai and other major cities in India. The unit is run by a very qualified team of engineers and quality assurance professionals. We have the relevant ISO certifications such as 9001, 14001 and 13485 and a newly setup state of the art microbiology lab. Our products are being sold and used all over India and also the APAC region with exports to Bangladesh, Nepal, etc.

The factory is built on a 4000sqm land and has a built up area of about 2600sqm. We have over 10 CNC machines with a plan to acquire at least 4-5 more in the near term. There are 3 5-axis machines for manufacturing plates with multiple angles, etc. We have just added one more latest sliding head lathe from Citizen, Japan making quality and high precision screws and nails in a very energy efficient and fast manner. We use the best materials for making our implants and hence are well accepted within the medical fraternity.

Our best-selling product today is the hip replacement system and is highly in demand. We have been working on introduction of new products since Sunways have taken over to widen the product portfolio and better support the doctors and patients. We are also evaluating the 3D printing options that is taking over the west for custom and small sized products for implants. There is additional space in the factory to install few new machines and enhance the production as needed.

Our plan for now is to try and design and acquire a set of newer products and then commercialize the same. We are also at this time hiring a few more members in the sales team to push for institutional sales. Not only the team, but also untapped markets within India is going to be our focus since the market is spreading a lot wider than ever before.
